Our AZ-Delivery GY-68 module measures the temperature and pressure in the air reliably and precisely. It is therefore perfectly suited as the centerpiece for your own, self-made weather station and your self-made thermometer.
The main component of our module is the air pressure and temperature sensor, which is based on the BMP180 sensor. This is much more precise than its predecessor model BMP085: It can measure the air pressure in a range of 300 - 1100hPa and the temperature in a range of -40°C to +85°C.
The sensor has a resolution of 0.02 - 0.06hPA, which corresponds to a height difference of approx. 17 cm and can measure temperatures with an accuracy of 0.1°C. Furthermore, the energy efficiency of the sensor has also been improved, making it significantly more energy-efficient than the BMP085.
A lot has also happened in terms of size: the module has a compact size of just 13 x 10 x 2.6 mm. This means that it can be integrated into any project, no matter how small.
The module can be easily connected via I2C and is very easy to attach without a bracket using the existing mounting hole.
The sensor voltage is 1.8V - 3.6V, but the module can even be operated with up to 5V.
