Deramax-Echo ultrasonic scarer (repellent)

The Deramax-Echo scarecrow is used to protect indoor and outdoor areas from bats. The device is completely safe and noiseless for humans. The pests are constantly harassed by the scarecrow's ultrasound signals and leave the protected area in a short time. The operation of the device is environmentally friendly, without the use of chemicals.

Pulse operation of the battery scarecrow:
One of the main advantages of the Deramax-Echo battery scarecrow is the optimized pulse operation which allows you to generate ultrasonic signals with a very high sound pressure level, with minimal energy consumption. Optimized pulse operation of the scarecrow and thus also pulse consumption of energy from the battery means several times higher efficiency of the use of the battery capacity compared to common types of battery scarecrows. And that means several times longer battery life.

Resonant amplification of the ultrasonic signal:
The Deramax-Echo uses the resonant signal amplification, which is important for achieving the highest possible performance with the lowest possible power consumption. We perform the calibration of the frequencies generated by the electronic circuits of the scarecrow with the resonant frequencies of the used piezoelectric transducers (ultrasonic "emitters") within each production series.

Deramax-Echo power supply:
Deramax-Echo is a battery-powered scarecrow using a standard 9 V battery. The 9 V lithium battery will keep the device running for 12 months. The 9 V alkaline battery keeps the scarecrow running for 6 months.

Target group of pests:
Bats.

Warning: In some countries, certain species of bats are protected, ev. all species of wild bats are protected. We therefore recommend that you check which species of bats are protected in your country. Not only the animals themselves but also the bat habitats are often subject to legal protection. E.g. in the Czech Republic, all species of bats are protected by Act No. 114/1992 Coll., on Nature Protection, and for the handling of bats or intervention in their habitat, it is necessary to request an exemption from the law from nature protection authorities.

Scarf resistance:
Indoor and outdoor use. The scarecrow is resistant to water, snow, humidity, dust, high temperature and frost (- 25 degrees C to + 80 degrees C).

Deramax-Echo scarecrow safety:
In terms of human impact, the Deramax-Echo scarecrow does not disturb its surroundings with unpleasant noise, it is completely quiet and safe. Meets the legal limits set for the maximum ultrasound level. Our internal rules then go beyond applicable laws and take into account current medical scientific work and WHO recommendations for airborne ultrasound. At the same time, this bat snake has no negative effect on domestic or farm animals such as dogs, cats, horses, poultry, exotic birds, etc.

Operating comfort:
The device does not need to be set in any way, it works completely automatically. Just install the battery and turn on the built-in switch.

Scarecrow location:
A common solution for placing a scarecrow and usually also the most practical solution, especially in the case of indoor use, is to place it on the ground in one of the corners of the protected area with the front facing the center of the protected area. However, it is also possible to fasten the scarecrow with screws or double-sided self-adhesive tape on the fence, wall, post, window, door, etc., which is most suitable for outdoor use. Deramax-Echo range of effectiveness:
The highest effective distance in front of the scarecrow is up to 12 meters. The range of effective area in square meters is up to 70 m2. The effective angle of view is 120 degrees. Thus, the scarecrow has not only high performance but the special design of the device ensures a very wide effective angle of 120 degrees, while even at the boundary of the declared angle (ie outside the main signal radiation direction) the scarecrow still generates at least 85% of the declared sound pressure level. Of course, the ultrasonic signal propagates beyond the stated angle of view of 120 degrees, but the efficiency is already lower here and therefore, in terms of objectivity, we state an effective angle of view of "only" 120 degrees.

Number of scarecrows in one space:
Any number of ultrasonic scarecrows can be placed in one place and their signals are not adversely affected. On the contrary, more scarecrows are commonly used to protect especially larger or more fragmented areas, because a larger number of scarers (repellers) installed in one place means significantly higher penetration of the protected area by ultrasonic signal and increases overall efficiency.
